foot roll technique

A simple technique to release tension in your whole body.

The fascia, or connective tissue, literally connects all of you to all of you; your feet are connected to your head and everything in~between.

This amazingly simple and easy technique can help you release tension in your low back, your shoulders, your neck ~ try it!

I highly recommend that you take the time to roll both feet, rather than just one foot, or you may feel unbalanced in your body.

  • Stand in your bare feet next to a counter, a wall, or the back of chair if you need balance support.
  • Completely roll the bottom of each foot on the ball for 2-5 minutes, making sure to roll your heel, arch, outside of your foot and the toes. 
  • Engage your core while you are rolling the ball. 
  • This is a great opportunity to also work on your balance at the same time you are rolling each foot.
