A simple technique that quickly releases tension and restrictions often held in this area.

If you are feeling rigid in your thoughts and feelings, this is a good place to start to create ease ~ try it!

  • Sit on the roller so that it is perpendicular to your spine.
  • Shift onto the right side of your body, and position your right gluteal region/hip region on top of the roller.
  • Bend your right arm into a 90 ° position and rest your right forearm on the floor.  Your left arm will come in front of your chest, with fingers resting on the floor .
  • The left leg is bent, crossing over the right side of your body, with the left foot flat on the floor in front of your body.
  • Engage your core and use your right arm and left leg to roll up and down on the roller exploring for restrictions within the hip region.
  • If you can, pause and hold any areas of restriction, and wait for a release.
  • Repeat on the other side.
